At this clinic, National Champion Tom Luchsinger will teach participants how to maximize their speed by becoming more hydrodynamic in every area of swimming! Slay the DRAGon: Reducing drag is imperative if you want to move through the water quickly and efficiently.Learn what it feels like to have a deeper understanding of the way you can achieve maximum power! Tom knows this feeling and how to cultivate it for faster strokes. You have to be able to connect to the water to grab it and throw it behind you. Feel for the Water: Moving your arms through the water perfectly won't get you anywhere if you don't have a feel for the water.Tom will teach every participant how to achieve maximum efficiency through the use of an increased feel for the water and reduced drag. It's something that take practice, patience, and skill to acheive. Here's the good news: elite swimmer's aren't born with those abilities. When you watch elite level swimmers, it often looks like they have a super power of being able to hold onto the water with their arms and cut through the water with little resistance. Curriculum Feel for the Water and Slay the DRAGon! Tom will be leading two sessions designed for competitive swimmers with a minimum of one year of age group racing through Junior and Senior National Championship Qualifiers.
